Learn the Essentials

Making friends with MyData “big words” and personal data management basics

What are we REALLY talking about when we talk about MyData? What does that really mean on a high-level, in terms of the concepts, ideology and the framework –  and in practice, for businesses, governments, civil society – and of course, citizens. What is human-centric? What is consent? How to take the first steps towards implementing MyData in my organization? How can I as an individual make sense of my personal data? There are two sub-focuses to the track:

  1. MyData Big Words, how do we understand and relate to each others: *control of personal data*, *privacy*, *sharing value of data*, *interoperability*, *rights*, *trust* and other key concepts that are widely used in the MyData community. The track will develop common language and bring the conference audience to the same page
  2. Personal Data Education, where discuss ways to help people be more aware better control their data
