Jeremy Rollison

Director, Government Affairs at Microsoft

Jeremy Rollison is Director of EU Government Affairs within Microsoft’s Corporate, External, & Legal Affairs (CELA) group, working out of Microsoft’s Brussels office. With a focus on data protection, privacy, and data and cloud policy more broadly – particularly in the context of the EU’s Digital Single Market (DSM) – he is responsible for engagement with EU officials, regulators, and industry stakeholders on policy surrounding emerging data issues, particularly the challenges and opportunities related to the provision of cloud services and development of AI technologies in Europe. Prior to joining Microsoft, he worked at Nokia in the company’s EU representative office and was previously Director of the European Digital Media Association (EDiMA), representing the interests of Internet platform companies operating in the EU. He has over a decade of public policy experience in Brussels at the company, association, and consultancy levels, focusing on issues related to the development and delivery of digital and online services in the Internal Market and corresponding EU regulatory policy.
