I am Maria Karampela, PhD Fellow affiliated to the Digital Design Department of IT University of Copenhagen. I hold an MSc in IT and Cognition from the University of Copenhagen and a BA degree in Education. My PhD research is focusing on Personal Health Data (PHD) from the perspective of individuals/patients. More specifically, I am working on accessibility challenges of PHD exploring ways to empower healthy individuals and patients with chronic conditions in the context of Connected Health.
